Intro
I offer private on-mountain photography sessions at Furano Ski Resort for skiers and snowboarders who want strong, well-made images of their time on the mountain. Sessions are shaped around the client, the conditions, and the kind of photographs they want to come away with.
Pricing is for private sessions of up to 6 people. Smaller groups and individual sessions usually allow for a more focused session and a stronger set of images, as there is more time to work with each person on the mountain.
I work in English and photograph clients of different levels, from confident riders looking for action images to visitors who want a lasting visual record of their day in the snow.
All prices shown are in Japanese yen and include Japanese consumption tax, unless otherwise stated.
All sessions include
- private on-mountain photography coverage of up to 6 people
- post-production
- digital delivery
- a private online gallery
- a non-exclusive personal-use licence for the uses described in the Action Sports Photography FAQs
Lift tickets, equipment rental, travel, and any other access or third-party costs are not included. Clients are responsible for arranging and paying for their own lift tickets, equipment, travel, and any other related costs.
Private Sessions at Furano
- This option suits skiers and snowboarders who want a shorter session and a strong set of images without committing a full day of coverage. It works particularly well for solo riders, couples, friends, and smaller groups who want a concentrated block of time on the mountain.
- This is the stronger option for clients who want more time to move around the mountain, work in different light and conditions, and come away with a broader body of images across the day. It is also the better fit for families and groups who want a more complete record of their time at Furano.
Additional Time
If more time is needed, sessions can be extended at ¥30,000 per additional hour. Extensions are subject to conditions, lift operations, and availability on the day.
Image Delivery
Edited images are usually delivered within 5 to 7 days, depending on schedule and the scale of the session.
Images are delivered electronically by private online gallery or secure download link.
Final images are delivered only after all invoices have been paid in full.
Important Notes
This is a photography service only. It does not include ski instruction, snowboard instruction, or guiding.
All sessions are subject to weather, visibility, snow conditions, lift operations, and resort rules. Photography outside the resort’s controlled areas is not included as a standard part of any session and cannot be promised in advance.
Larger groups, unusual requirements, or special session requests may require a custom quotation.
Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the date.
The remaining balance must be paid before the session.
