Intro
These rates apply to my event photography work in Japan, including conferences, forums, symposia, corporate events, PR events, award ceremonies, exhibitions, trade shows, grand openings, sporting events, tournaments, and live music.
Both hourly and daily packages include event coverage, post-production*, digital delivery, a non-exclusive usage licence for the uses described in the Event Photography FAQs, and branding or watermarking on request.
Travel, accommodation, and other third-party costs are not included and, where necessary, are discussed in advance and charged separately.
All prices shown are in Japanese yen and include Japanese consumption tax.
- Suitable for shorter events, limited coverage, or targeted assignments.
- The better option for full-day events, and more substantial coverage.
Optional Extras
Optional additions can be arranged where needed:
- expedited delivery (+30%)
- airbrushing (+¥750 per image)
- additional photographer
- video recording
- private online gallery on request
*Post-production
Post-production includes image selection, editing, and optimisation for web and print use, including colour grading, contrast adjustment, and cropping. More advanced image processing is not included by default, but can be added where required.
Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the date. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
If the booking is made within 30 days of the event, the remaining balance is due immediately.
Final images are delivered only after all invoices have been paid in full.
