Introduction
These rates apply to my event photography work in Japan, including conferences, forums, symposia, corporate events, PR events, award ceremonies, exhibitions, trade shows, grand openings, sporting events, tournaments, and live performances.
Both hourly and daily packages include event coverage, post-production, digital delivery, a non-exclusive usage licence for the uses described in the Event Photography FAQs, and branding or watermarking on request.
Travel, accommodation, and other third-party costs are not included in the published rates. Where necessary, they are discussed in advance and charged separately.
Post-production includes image selection, editing, colour grading, contrast adjustment, cropping, and optimisation for web and print use. Advanced retouching is not included by default, but can be added where required.
All prices shown are in Japanese yen (¥) and include Japanese consumption tax.

Packages
Hourly Coverage
Minimum booking: 3 hours
¥35,000/hour
Best for shorter events, focused coverage, or assignments where only a specific part of the programme needs to be documented.
Daily Coverage – Best Value
Up to 8 hours of coverage
¥245,000/day
The better option for full-day conferences, corporate events, academic events, and programmes where the full shape of the day needs to be documented.
Optional Extras
Optional additions can be arranged where needed:
- Expedited delivery: +30%
- Additional photographer by quotation
- Video coverage by arrangement
- Private online gallery on request
Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the event date. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
If the booking is made within 30 days of the event, the full service fee is due at the time of booking.
Final images are delivered only after all invoices have been paid in full.
