Introduction
This full wedding story follows Darcey and Tatsuya’s day in Osaka from beginning to end. They wanted a fly-on-the-wall wedding photojournalism aesthetic – honest, natural, and unobtrusive – with a collection of images that would preserve the real feeling of the day rather than turn it into something staged.
Their wedding brought together two families, one from Japan and one from the United States, for a celebration shaped by tradition, modern touches, and moments of Japanese culture woven throughout. The gallery shows the full rhythm of the day: the formal ceremony, the laughter, the quiet exchanges, the emotional moments between friends and family, and all the small intervals that give a wedding its atmosphere, movement, and memory.
