Introduction
This full wedding story follows Toni and Maxine’s day in Brighton from morning preparations through to the late evening celebrations. It records the marriage of a serving Royal Marine, recently home from active duty, and his wife – a day they wanted photographed honestly, naturally, and without anything feeling staged.
What unfolds is a joyful summer wedding full of movement, warmth, and character: the anticipation of the morning, the church ceremony, the confetti, the drinks, the banter and laughter, the singing, the dancing, and the lively energy of friends and family celebrating together on a beautiful day in August. The gallery shows the way I approach full-day documentary wedding coverage – staying close to the life of the day, but never interrupting it, so the story is carried by the people, the atmosphere, and the moments that made the celebration theirs.
